डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी ने किशोर वैज्ञानिक प्रोत्साहन योजना (केवीपीवाई) एप्टीट्यूड टेस्ट को 2022 व अगले सालों के लिए बंद करने का निर्णय लिया है। अब केवीपीवाई को डिपार्टमेंट के ही इंस्पायर प्रोग्राम के साथ जोड़ दिया गया है।
केवीपीवाई की फैलोशिप को 1999 में साइंस एजुकेशन और रिसर्च को प्रमोट करने के लिए शुरू किया गया था, ताकि साइंस रिसर्च में इंटरेस्ट रखने वाले स्टूडेंट्स को प्लेटफॉर्म मिल सके। बच्चों के पोटेंशियल को बनाए रखने और देश में साइंटिस्ट बनने की परंपरा से जुड़ाव रखने के लिए यह टेस्ट आयोजित होता था। इस फैलोशिप के सलेक्शन के लिए स्टूडेंट्स को पहले एप्टीट्यूड टेस्ट देना होता था और उसके बाद सलेक्ट होने वाले स्टूडेंट्स की इंटरव्यू परफॉर्मेंस के आधार पर केवीपीवाई फैलोशिप अवॉर्ड की जाती थी।
साइंस रिसर्च से बना रहे थे दूरी
एक्सपर्ट आशीष अरोड़ा ने बताया कि पिछले कई सालों से ये देखा जा रहा था कि केवीपीवाई की फैलोशिप मिलने के बाद भी स्टूडेंट्स साइंस रिसर्च को कॅरियर नहीं चुन रहे थे और प्रोफेशनल डिग्री कोर्सेज की तरफ जा रहे थे। ऐसे में केवीपीवाई का मकसद जो कि देश में साइंटिस्ट बनने की भावना को बढ़ावा देना था, वह पूरा नहीं हो पा रहा था और दूसरी तरफ इंस्पायर अवॉर्ड के कई स्टूडेंट्स ने बेसिक साइंसेज को कॅरियर चुना, शायद इसलिए दोनों प्रोग्राम्स को मर्ज किया गया है।

Online Application Fee KVPY 2022 Form
KVPY 2022 Application form fee can be submitted through online mode only. Candidates can use Credit Card, Debit Card and Net-Banking payment gateways for transaction of application fee.

इस साल की परीक्षा में भी नहीं होगा इंटरव्यू
इस साल भी केवीपीवाय फैलोशिप परीक्षा सिर्फ एक ही चरण में आयोजित होगी। कोरोना से पहले यानि कि साल 2019 तक यह परीक्षा दो चरणों में आयोजित होती थी। इस वर्ष भी छात्रों का अंतिम चयन ‘केवीपीवाय एप्टीटुड टेस्ट’ में प्राप्त अंकों के आधार पर ही होगा। उन्हें पर्सनल इंटरव्यू के लिए नहीं बुलाया जाएगा।
KVPY 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can check the complete eligibility norms. Students will have to satisfy to be eligible for KVPY 2022-
For SA Stream:
- Qualification: Students should be appearing in the 11th standard from any recognised board.
- Subjects: Applying candidate should have Science & Mathematics as mandatory.
- Percentage: Students should have obtained at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PWD) in their 10th board examination to be eligible for KVPY.
For SX Stream:
- Qualification: Applying Students appearing in 10+2 intermediate from any recognized board can apply for SX Stream.
- Subjects: Aspirants must have science subjects (PCB / PCM) in their qualifying examination.
- Percentage Required: Students must have scored minimum 75% marks in class 12th (65% for SC/ ST/ PWD) aggregate in Mathematics and Science subjects in 10th level.
For SB Stream:
- Qualification: Students enrolled in 1st year of undergraduate program in Basic Sciences are eligible for scholarship test.
- Subjects: Aspirants must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology as mandatory subject.
- Percentage Required: Students have scored 60% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ PWD) in Mathematics & Science in 12th level.
केवीपीवाई फेलोशिप राशि KVPY Fellowship Amount
यह KVPY परीक्षा पास करने के बाद आपको यूजी और पीजी की पढ़ाई के दौरान हर महीने स्कॉलरशिप मिलती रहेगी। बैचलर डिग्री के तीन साल तक हर महीने 5 हजार रुपये की फेलोशिप राशि मिलेगी। इसके अलावा सालाना 20 हजार रुपये ग्रांट अलग से दिया जाएगा। वहीं, मास्टर डिग्री के दो साल या इंटीग्रेटेड कोर्स कर रहे हैं तो चौथे और पांचवें साल में आपको हर महीने 7 हजार रुपये स्कॉलरशिप और सालाना 28 हजार रुपये ग्रांट मिलेगा।
